Here at RentalSpot.Com we take seriously the frustrations involved with both advertising vacation rentals, and looking to rent a vacation property. Both are challenges, but we've deployed some tools to help all our users out. In the next few posts we will be highlighting different tools and capabilities of the RentalSpot.Com site.

First and foremost, let's talk about what "Free" means to RentalSpot.Com. "Free" is one of our best features! "Free" means you are free to post as many of your properties as you wish. "Free" means you pay nothing when someone contacts you or books through RentalSpot.Com. "Free" also means you pay no subscription, one time or any other fees to get your site posted.

"Free" does not mean that we will penalize your posts. "Free" does not mean we will spam you time and time again with offers and solicitations. "Free" also doesn't mean that your properties information is completely restricted to a single picture, or some other restriction which hinders the ability of your vacation rental listing to attract new vacationers.

We love vacation, we love "Free", and we'd love for you to be part of a continually growing experience. Registering takes about 5 minutes, and entering properties takes about 10—15 minutes. At any point you can come back to the process, you are "Free" to leave the site and come back at anytime to complete listing your vacation rentals.

Here are some other features that we offer for free:

Trip Collaboration — Have you ever felt left out of the decision making process when picking a vacation home? Ever have your friends or family feel this way? No more do you have to worry about making a decision about a vacation rental. Users can create a favorite list of all their results and easily share these lists with their friends and family going on the trip with them. Collaborate in our Trip Dashboard with live chat, voting, and more! Make the decision process fun and include everyone with a vote.

Free Statistics! — You can see how many times your property was shown in the result list of a users search. You can see how many times users clicked on your detailed information. You can see how many times users contacted you directly via the contact form, or forwarded your property to a friend.

Property Managers/Agency tools — When you register as a agency or corporate account, you can add multiple users to your account, allowing all your agents to list their properties under the single entity of the company, and they can manage each other's properties.

Is a home you already manage listed on RentalSpot.Com? The owner can elect a agency to manage their property on their behalf. The agent doesn't need to log in as the other user or know any information, the home just appears in the dashboard!

Free Messaging — We've added a simple messaging system to help facilitate communication on RentalSpot.Com. It's not required to be used, but it sure is helpful.
