Steve Rose is a well-known, talented local chef with many interesting sidelines. His restaurant, the Vineyards Inn, is a favorite among those in the know and from his kitchens you will be treated to a gourmet breakfast cooked to order (breakfast not available during holidays: July 4, 5 and 6, November 24 and 25, December 24, 25 and 26), and possibly some of his home-made cheeses and samples from his wine cellar, along with the opportunity to dine at the Vineyards Inn. He may even prepare a dinner for you on site with advance notice & his availability! The location of Casa Verde is ideal, right in the heart of Sonoma Valley, within walking distance to the restaurant, as well as Landmark Winery, Kaz, Chateau St. Jean. Numerous other wineries are a short car ride away. Sugarloaf Ridge State Park is right up the hill, with its fantastic hiking trails and Ferguson Observatory, and the mountain looming in your vistas at Casa Verde. The living room looks out onto their organic merlot vineyard & the patio under the Valley Oaks. The restful bedroom features a queen sized bed with luxurious, natural and organic linens.
